Hello friends, and welcome to The Action #10! Initially, I started this newsletter as a way to get the weekly publishing muscle going and have admittedly been using the Actionable Ideas Newsletter format as a crutch of sorts. Issue #10 and onwards I will be adding my voice and some new sections.
love this! Particularly #3 - think you could take this a step further. Sure diffused mode thinking can happen across multiple mindless activities. BUT there are some trends - if we really think hard about it, we can identify where our best ideas historically came from - perhaps there is a trend or a particular activity that resonates most.
Ask audience (readers) to identify their diffused mode thinking. It could be the shower, it could be walking a dog etc.
Bill Gates taps into his diffused mode thinking when he washes dishes - to this day, he still washes his own dishes to tap into it!
